TikTok is hiring a Script Production Manager to build out the AI-driven pipeline for English short drama scripts. This sits within their PGC (Professionally Generated Content) team, which focuses on scaling professional, high-quality content across the platform. Full-time, on-site in LA, with a salary range of $94K to $236K plus potential bonuses, RSUs, and full benefits.
Company Overview
TikTok is the dominant platform for short-form mobile video, with global headquarters in Los Angeles and Singapore and offices across New York, London, Dublin, Paris, Berlin, Dubai, Jakarta, Seoul, and Tokyo. Their PGC team is specifically focused on building a professional content ecosystem spanning business, finance, humanities, technology, and entertainment verticals. This role sits within that team's push to integrate AI tooling into their short drama content pipeline.
Position Overview
This is a production management role focused on the intersection of AI tools and English-language short drama scripting. You'll evaluate whether to build or buy when it comes to large language model integration, research and test the tools available for script generation, and collaborate with engineering to develop a full AI-assisted production workflow. That covers everything from prompt optimization and model selection to quality review standards and manual polish SOPs. You'll also own the data and metrics that measure how well the AI output actually performs. This isn't a creative writing job. It's a systems and process role for someone who understands both AI capabilities and short drama storytelling.
