AI Storyboard & Video Artist

Crazy Maple Studio is looking for an AI Storyboard & Video Artist to support short-form narrative productions by translating shotlists and creative direction into consistent, publishable AI-generated visuals and video content. This is a production-focused contract role that lives in a fast-iteration environment. Story structure and pacing are handled by the writing and editing teams; your responsibility is visual execution: generating images and clips, maintaining consistency across scenes, assembling full episodes, and delivering finished content that meets platform specs. Projects span male-oriented, female-oriented, and general audience content.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate images and video clips from shotlists and defined creative direction
• Maintain consistency in character appearance, environment design, and visual style across scenes
• Apply visual judgment to strengthen key moments through inserts, close-ups, and emphasis shots where appropriate
• Write, refine, and iterate prompts to control framing, camera distance, composition, and visual focus
• Adapt generated outputs to short-form narrative needs without altering story structure or established pacing
• Assemble generated assets into complete episodes, managing the full post-production loop: pacing, AI voiceover sync, sound design, and music mixing
• Deliver final, publishable episodes at high production value and in compliance with platform technical specs
• Collaborate with creative leads to ensure visuals are editorial-ready and usable in the production pipeline
• Test and evaluate new AI tools and workflows to continuously improve efficiency and output quality

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with AI image and/or video generation platforms
• Strong prompting skills with demonstrated control over framing, angle, and visual composition
• Solid visual literacy across composition, camera language, and shot type conventions
• Ability to follow creative direction while exercising sound independent judgment on visual execution
• Comfort working in fast-iteration environments with frequent feedback and rapid revision cycles
• Experience with short-form narrative, episodic content, or dramatic visual storytelling
• Familiarity with AI-generated video pipelines
• Strong communication skills and the ability to receive and apply feedback constructively
• Background in storyboarding, filmmaking, photography, illustration, or video production is a plus
• Node-based workflow familiarity preferred
